Jeff Nelson, Ph.D.

Dr. Jeffrey J. Nelson is president of Expert OJT and creator of the Expert OJT System. He is a nationally recognized trainer with over 20 years experience in job aids and on-the-job training.

He was co-founder and member for life of National Society of Performance and Instruction (NSPI / ISPI), Tidewater Chapter.

He has presented at: ASTD National Conferences, ASTD Technical Skills and Training Conferences, NSPI Conferences, Total Trainer Conference, the Ziff On-The-Job Learning Conference, Training Conferences, Training Magazine's Cost Effective Training, Best of America Conferences, and the Total Trainer Program.

Tony Moore, CPT*

Tony is president of Moore Performance Improvement, a virtual company, networked with a dozen other consulting companies around the country that share the same stringent standards and rigorous and systematic approach to improving employee performance. He has worked with manufacturing and construction of the space shuttle, computers, automobiles, televisions, fiber optics, soap, paper, petroleum products, and many other companies.

Tom Yeoman

Tom Yeoman, a retired Vice President for Workforce Development in the South Carolina Technical College System, has been engaged in workforce development, training project management, team leadership and team development, organizational development and process training for over 25 years.  Tom has a wide range of corporate experience; aircraft manufacturing & assembly, multiple manufacturing and assembly operations, healthcare, and distribution facilities. 

Tom holds a MA degree (Community and Occupational Programs in Education) from USC.  He is an active member of the Midlands ASTD chapter. Tom is the Principle of The Yeoman Group, LLC, a dynamic training project management team, which utilizes a “4D methodology” (discovery/design/develop/delivery) to execute training projects.

Lynn Brandon

Lynn is President of Brandon Performance Technology, Inc. "A Human Performance Improvement Company". For the past 20 years Lynn has been involved in the field of Performance Technology and specializes in front-end-analysis, job aids, and on-the-job training. Lynn has been instructing the Expert OJT workshop for 15 years.

Rick Straker, CPT*

The Straker Group helps organizations to ramp up people and processes. We work with our clients to cut training time and cost, increase productivity, and cut scrap and other errors. Rick has 19 years experience in a variety of consulting, training, and management roles in the public and private sectors. He's worked with clients in a variety of industries and sectors, including high-tech, manufacturing and operations, banking and financial services, biomedical, city, county, state, and federal government.

Rick is Past-President (1991) of the Houston chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), is active with the American Society of Training & Development (ASTD), and holds BA and MS degrees. He is a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) and has extensive training in training and performance improvement best practices.
